The Board of Directors of NEW Cooperative is pleased to announce the construction of a new facility in Franklin County. Located at the junction of Hwy 3 and County Road S13, this facility-named Rowan- is the first step in NEW Cooperative’s long-term commitment to the area’s producers, and ensures the ability to provide the highest quality products and services to better serve members and customers well into the future.
NEW Cooperative began operations in Franklin and Wright counties in September 2014, when a merger with Farmer’s Cooperative Company of Dows and Rowan was finalized. Since then, NEW Cooperative has realized the need for improved facilities and services in order to better serve the surrounding area. Brent Bunte, General Manager of NEW Cooperative says, “Time is one the most valuable assets of today’s producers, especially during the harvest season. The new Rowan facility was designed with the utmost consideration given to quality, speed and the safety of our producers and employees.”
